RAGE

The various Brigand Factions in Passion are very artistically skew for a collection of murdering rapists. The entire waste is filled with bit sculptures, paries paintings and all kinds of pre-warfare nicknacks Ra-purposed into installation art. Information technology's sort of like a post-apocalyptic Burning Man festival only slimly more idyllic, as you're surrounded by flesh eating mutants instead of preposterous wankers.
Some of you are probably disappointed (more so than usual) by the deficiency of cured … craze in now's pillage. I'm in reality thoroughly enjoying the game, despite its issues, but I know some of you meet can't start your day without a bit of a sparkle, soh Here we go. RAGE's PC relinquish has been a pure mess. Even ignoring the unbowed aweigh crashes and lack of some pregnant configuration options at launch, the tech the game runs on just seems fundamentally imperfect. The "Mega Texture" system of rules, which uses one giant texture for the maps instead of lots of weeny ones, sounded with child when explained in John Carmack's dulcet tones, only in practice it's causing frightful texture pop-in, and the heavy compression compulsory to keep the texture file out size manageable means interior scenes look like Onion Appreciation Day on planet Teargas. The tech has introduced more problems than it's fixed – I mean, were we truly that bothered by continual textures in the first place? The prison term, money and effort could have been amend tired elsewhere. Like on the script, for deterrent example.
